A New Collaboration with the High Point Market Authority
The High Point Market Authority and TODL (the Trade Only Design Library) are thrilled to announce their next-level technology and content-sharing collaboration to further enhance the year-round experience of the High Point Market for exhibitors and attendees.
For more than one hundred years, High Point Market has been the premier destination for buyers and sellers within the home furnishings industry to meet face-to-face twice a year. Since its launch in 2000, TODL has been the premier online resource enabling designers, architects and professional buyers to source and select from the estimated $46 billion of products that are specified in design industry projects annually. TODL and the High Point Market Authority have come together to seamlessly integrate those in-person and online experiences, aiming to expand year-round commerce for professional buyers and sellers.
“Our goal in working with TODL is to leverage their innovative Internet and mobile technology platform to further enhance the High Point buying and selling experience year-round,” said Tom Conley, President and CEO of the High Point Market Authority. “High Point’s attendees and exhibitors are increasingly Internet-savvy and extensive users of mobile devices. Our partnership with TODL significantly extends the High Point Market experience online and strengthens the ability to leverage the resources of High Point Market before, during, and after market.”
The TODL and HPMA collaboration enables exhibitors to extend their physical Market showrooms into the web and mobile environment of TODL through extensive online product catalogs, enhancing their ability to reach professional buying audiences. TODL’s latest innovations in product search, navigation, categorization and filtering enable attendees to more effectively prepare for upcoming Markets by assembling target lists of exhibitors to visit based on their specific needs. That includes the ability to easily search for exhibitor products by types, styles and budget ranges. Project-oriented attendees such as designers, architects and builders can also construct project folders and preferred vendor lists to organize their product research in the context of their commercial and residential projects.
“The new TODL platform is based on 15 years of experience servicing the trade exclusively. It is finely-tuned to the challenges of professional commerce, which is a significantly different experience than e-commerce for consumers,” added Stacey Tiveron, TODL’s Founder and CEO. “At TODL, we never stop innovating with web, mobile, search, analytics and database technologies that help professional buyers efficiently locate, specify and purchase the right products. High Point Market has a long history of defining and perfecting that experience at physical markets. TODL’s focus on the unique online and mobile needs of professional buyers and sellers puts us on the same mission as the High Point Market. This enables us to align our in-person and online resources seamlessly to benefit High Point’s attendees and exhibitors.”
A significant number of High Point exhibitors already have full product catalogs on TODL. One goal of this collaboration is to include all qualified High Point exhibitors on the TODL platform by the Fall 2015 High Point Market. Options include full catalogs, mini-catalog brochures or linked directory listings. Interested exhibitors should register on the TODL website or contact TODL Client Services at 800-631-3111. Interested design industry and retail purchasers can register for free TODL membership.
