Impossible bathroom design? Its Possible!
“It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” – Walt Disney
These are lovely and meaningful words from the late Walt Disney. Everyday here at TODL we have the opportunity to see fascinating projects and products from every corner of the design industry. Through our manufacturers, we get to glimpse into projects being specified around the world. After seeing these companies’ projects day-in and day-out, I no longer believe in ‘impossible’.
Here’s a recent example… what if your client said they wanted a clean, contemporary bathroom design with a vanity and mirror that seemed to float. Ok, check. We can do that.
But then they add the caveat that they also want the vanity and mirror glow. The whole thing. Oh, and they want it to glow apple green.
That’s where Neo-Metro, designer and manufacturer of contemporary bathroom furnishings, continues to reinvent the definition of what I thought what possible in the realm of bath décor.
They released their hottest new creations at the Boutique Design New York trade fair. Neo-Metro wowed the industry attendees at BDNY with a stunning showcase of their captivating custom projects. The interesting thing about Neo-Metro’s designs is they all start with a clean and modern aesthetic of stainless steel. From there the pieces are created to fit the specific need and feel of each restroom whether it be residential, hospitality or even institutional.
And don’t think the ebb basin stops with apple green. Your heart’s desire seems to be the limit with yellows, reds, blues – simply amazing.
And since we’re talking about Neo-Metro, another product newly launched is their ‘Peek-A-Boo’ Vanity System. The vanity is a solid surface with a seamless integrated basin. So, you say… what makes the Peek-A-Boo unique? It includes soft close drawers, with a revealing pop of color on the inside of the drawers when opened! So fun!
Sometimes the small details are what I appreciate the most. Sometimes that is what takes a piece from ordinary to extraordinary.
At the end of the day I think that one of the greatest lessons we can learn is to forget impossible. The many companies and designers within the industry who have chosen to ignore the notion of impossibility are the ones who seem to soar! Neo-Metro believes that ‘nothing is too obscure’, this motto has proven to be very successful for them.
I would like to challenge everyone to try something in their work or personal life’s that has always felt difficult. Let’s see if we can make the impossible, possible!
“Neo-Metro offers a selection of mixed materials, finishes, and colors, allowing for custom configurations as well as competitive pricing with no sacrifice in lead-time thanks to the company’s proven manufacturing capabilities located in Southern California”
Don’t forget – design professionals can specify Neo-Metro and hundreds of other amazing brands on TODL 24 hours a day!
