Shellshock Designs Ltd. Nominated for SBID International Design Awards 2013
Have you ever stood in front of an ocean that didn’t beckon you to immerse yourself in it’s waters? That didn’t sooth your soul? That didn’t seem to pull your troubles and worries out to its horizon?
Yeah. Me neither.
It must be one of the reasons why, like me, our members love Shellshock Designs Ltd.
And maybe why the Society of British Interior Design (SBID) selected them as a finalist in the 2013 International Design Awards 2013.
Their Mother of Pearl Wall Panels installed at The Heron in London, UK look unbelievably slick from afar, but as one approaches the walls, the depth, luminescence and texture draw you in, compelling you to reach out and touch the cool, smooth surface.
Its just yummy. Yes I said it. I could have said luxurious… gorgeous… stunning. But I’m saying yummy because I’ve always used that word – not just for food, but for fabrics, textiles, art, people… anything that makes my eyes go to half mast and where I’m moved to try to soak in more of whatever it is with all of the senses I can use.
Congratulations Shellshock Designs! Another stunning use of your products!
And for those as moved like I am, please vote for them!
